Retirement Place Reviews
Has anyone bought a retirement place in Hove or Brighton?
I am wondering whether to move to the seaside when I retire and was interested in the Brighton area because there is plenty going on. I'd be interested to hear about those retirement apartments (eg. Mccarthy & Stone) you see advertised.

- I would definately go for Brighton. There is so much to see and do there. By the way did you know Brighton recently became a city??. The McCarthy and Stone apartments are good, sound and usually put in good position. You are never far from the seA. you have an excellent trainservice to London and other parts of the country. There is the annual London to Brighton Car Run. Loads of shops and undercover malls. Car parking during the summer is sometimes tight. Also you are right in the South Downs wonderful views and good walking. GO FOR IT! Best of luck Marion
