Does anyone govern private retirement homes in Texas?
If homes don't live up to expectations, who do they answer to? Are there any govt agencies that can help. If safety is an issue, who can help? Asking the director to help is getting nowhere, now looking for outside help. Can't afford to just move out due to financial situation.

- If the home isn't complying with the terms of the contract, you sue them. I doubt any government agency regulates retirement homes. Nursing homes, or other such medical facilities, yes, but not just retirement homes. Richard
