How can I interest the activities coordinator of a retirement community to have programs with children?

I live in a retirement community for older adults. I would like to participate in programs with children. There are no programs with children now. I would like to interest the activities coordinator to contact schools or day care centers and get some programming started. Any ideas? I know such planning takes time and effort.

  1. Show up riding an elephant.
  2. Communicate with you AC. Show him/her your plans in working with children. I think to start of introducing the idea to her , you might want to set up a day where the elderlies can work and spend some time with the children. Then slowly tell them about you wanting to have a program started working with chidren
