My home is too large. I am two years from retirement. Should I buy a smaller home or rent an apartment?
I am a quiet person and do not like to be around people who are loud. The payments on my home will continue for the rest of my life. I do not have many friends anywhere. I have moved many times.

- buy a smaller home better to have the place payed for and not have to worry as well as u will get cash for downsizing

- Buy a nice little apartment it would be more convient for you
- If you rent an apartment, you won't have to worry about lawn care or repairs, your landlord will; but if you want more quiet and privacy I'd say get a smaller house.
